I know this might seem heartless, and perhaps it is, but to be honest I think its more about practicality than anything else..
Am I the only one who thinks ambulances should be used to ferry the injured to hospital as opposed to shipping the dying home and/or being called out by people who wanted painkillers?
Why are the public such idiots?
